Aquatap water station
Case Study

Aquatap

Transforming marine waste into sustainable public water stations, in partnership with Our Only World.

The vision

Our Only World had an ambitious vision: to create public water refill stations made from recycled marine waste plastic. The Aquatap project combines environmental sustainability with practical public infrastructure, turning ocean pollution into something that serves communities.

Manufacturing the future

Working with Our Only World, we developed the manufacturing process for the Aquatap stations using recycled marine waste materials. This presented unique challenges -- recycled marine plastic behaves differently to virgin material, requiring careful process optimisation to achieve the structural integrity and aesthetic quality needed for public-facing installations.

Our team worked closely with the designers to refine the product through multiple iterations, ensuring durability, weather resistance, and an attractive finish that communities would be proud to have in their public spaces.
